Article from upset in 2018. Every Forrest player should read this recap of the 2018 14-13 loss:

https://www.marshalltribune.com/story/2549164.html

Total Yards: Eagleville 185, Forrest 328

Rushing: Eagleville 141, Forrest 220

Passing: Eagleville 44, Forrest 108

Turnovers: Eagleville 0, Forrest 3

Penalties: Eagleville 0, Forrest 6-55

WOW

Turnovers decided it i guess. Lopsided stats for a loss. Interesting though.

That tells me either you are bluffing. they weren't game changers, or you don't expect their impact to make a difference either way.

So how does Eagleville do it EHS? Pull the upset that is

Not sure exactly, but we can up our chances if we keep mistakes and penalties to a minimum. That hasn’t been a real issue this year, so hopefully that continues this week.

dozens of posters from Peabody, meigs, TC, watertown, waverly, and riverside gum up the works here hourly with their stuff.

meanwhile this Rockets team is quietly about to go 12-0 friday. if my obnoxious self werent here no one would be talking about this team, still

and make no mistake, this needs to be a bonafide beatdown friday. no more letting your foot off the gas like you did the last 3 meetings, two 1 point losses and a 28-7 win. this needs to be a mercy rule. only way it isnt is if rockets shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly. and if thats the case. they wont beat riverside or waverly anyways.  we have statistically dominated this team for half a decade or more and dont have nearly the wins to show for it.

that needs to END friday

Two ways both teams can look at their week 3 meeting.

For Eagleville: Except for a 7 minute span where Eagleville gave up 21 points in the 1st half their defense played extremely well. They loaded to stop #6 (115 yards, 2TDS) and gave him his lowest rushing total on the season.

For Forrest: Except for a referee flag throwing contest in the 3rd quarter the Rockets would have had a running clock midway through the 3rd quarter.

Only way Eagleville stays close in this one is penalties and turnovers. But that's exactly how they have won 2 out of the past 3 games in the series.
