Pirates just need to come out sharp and take care of business...leave no doubt that they are the better team this year. Expecting a competitive first half but think the Pirates will put this one away in the 3rd quarter. Hopefully the rain will hold off as well. Pirates by 35. It seems we use to play them about every season. Then we had a little break before last season between games. Now it seems to be back to normal. Go Pirates! sportman
As I said early in the week, rain or shine or whatever, The Pirates win by at least 28. Since this is the last home game for about 14 or so young men, they will be ready. A little weather want hurt us at all like I know a lot of people hope it does. The field has also been redone since the last time we played Gordy over here, so it can take a lot of rain. Yes, it will be slick, but the last time I checked both ends of the field are the same. I look maybe for some turn overs from both sides, but the dominant SP team will win.

Be careful coming down and going back as well. Hopefully the weather holds off. One map that I looked at showed it coming in at about 9. That means we can get to the 4th quarter relatively dry if that map holds true. Edited November 22, 2019 by The Drunken Sailor

The Drunken Sailor
It's weird at Beene right now folks. Foggy, quiet and empty except for pegleg and a of Gordonsville fans. Not used to it being this empty, even 2 hours before kickoff.
