That kind of flawed last years game.  Both teams had some major injuries.  I would love to see both teams healthy this year. With that said. They both were the best two teams in 2A last year.  Possibly this year

Yeah it’s crazy to think about the battle in that game and it could have been that much better, maybe this year it will happen. Watertown will be a tough out and likely Meigs will be extremely tough

Nasty against who?

But please don't respond to us with Good season Fairely-Good win Peabody.  Eat your crow and I will eat mine if necessary.

1) Look at the common opponents comparison I just posted.

2) Why on earth shouldn't I respond the way I've responded in the past in other threads? Eat CROW for what? If Peabody wins ... Good Season Fairley, Good win Peabody ... and vice versa. ????? I'm sorry if that offends you in any way but that's just how I roll. I've never been perfect in picking winners and I will probably get some more wrong in the future, but eating CROW is for people who talk smack to one another ... when have you read ANY post I've ever done where I talk smack to an opponent's fan base? For that matter, where in this thread ... ANYWHERE in this thread have I stated that Fairley will win? Go find it and post it. I'll save you the trouble ... you won't find it.

Fairley plays their home games at JP Freeman (4) which is grass. They also have played at Crump (1), MUS (1) and at Whitehaven (1) which are turf. They have also played at the Fairgrounds (1) which is also grass.  I don't know what surface they played on when they played Hernando nor do I rememnber the fields thay played on against A-ville and UC. Needless to say they have played on both surfaces throughpout the year.

I don’t guess it really matters. It just looked like in most of the videos they were playing on turf

@kwc @BlackHavenSenator what do you guys think about the game ?

You are cool. I understand this is a big game and Fairley isn't a pushover. I'm rooting for Fairley myself, but I understand what they are up against as well. This should, for all intense and purposes, be a whale of a game. If it goes how I think ... it will be suspensfull until the end.

I just saw UC and Fairley.  UC dominated the line of scrimmage early in the game.  Fairley was not 4 tds better than UC.  UC would hav played them much closer if not for some internal issues.  Also take away the kickoff return, but I can't do that, because that is good special teams play.  I will say, given some of those long runs UC had would have easily been homeruns for Peabody. Fairley is good.  But Peabody is better.  Two or three tds better

Peabody has scored  532 points. And has allowed 62 points for the year. 14 of those points werent allowed by the defense. They  were fumbles and  scoop and scores and a few were on the second team

Fairley  has scored 400 and allowed 114 on defense

He had a good analogy but yours is more accurate.  Our defense has been lights out.  We are giving up about 5-6 points a game.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
