Lady Wildcats remain unbeaten for the season as they defeat two time defending Kentucky State Champs Mercer County  62 - 49. The game can be seen by going to YouTube .com and searching for prepradio.com.

Lebanon ( TN ) used their superior size and a timid first half effort by the Lady Wildcats to win and continue on in the Winners Bracket. Oak Ridge fell behind by double digits in the first half but was able to cut the Lebanon's lead to one point twice late in the game. Foul trouble and poor shooting doomed the Cardinal and Gray.

Coach Redman has done a phenomenal job with Oak Ridge... I saw them back in the summer and they didn’t look very good. I watched the game today against Lebanon and they are night and day compared to what they looked like in the summer.

Lebanon is a very good team that plays great defense, and when the shots are falling, they’re capable of beating anyone in the state.

Neil, did you see that mule that strapped the entire Lady Wildcat team on her back and carried them to victory. Actually, Khamari Mitchell Steen was more like a mix of Wonder Woman and Jennifer Azzi.

Yes, this team will be really scary if all them start shooting better.  She did a great job of drawing fouls early on for us to stay in the game.

Those wildcats got us again, but it was a great game, they have improved and number 2 and 14 are really good players, and fun to watch, they need to get a little more scoring from some of the others, and they will be really hard to beat. 
 

The loss of Kenny has hurt, but the other girls have stepped up and are playing good, I think Meigs will be fine in 2A.

 I am pulling for you guys to win it tomorrow.
