He really is. Y’all coach now must be pretty good though CBRF? Apparently we have more good talent coming up too because our freshmen beat Cleveland and from what I am hearing it’s a very talented freshman bunch from Cleveland. Green has a good system going at OR. Hope he stays another 20 ha. He’s already taken #1 place as far as wins go among OR coaches and that’s saying a lot because we have a pretty rich hoops tradition.

Everyone in Cleveland loves Coach Tucker. He is doing a great job in his 1st season. Easy transition with him being on our staff for so long.

We talked today about how use to winning district games we are that we don't appreciate it like we should.Clary said we have only lost like 11 district games in 10 yrs or something like that.So many times through the yr I skip games because we blow so many people out.But I think about how many fans would love to go watch their team do what we have done for a long time now.Im just super impressed with how Green hasn't let the team fall back like many thought would happen after so many great players went thru.Green keeps getting better and that's great for us.Hope he stays for 10 more yrs. Also credit to all the kids who put in the work and are coachable and keep this train rolling.Go Cats

Speculation among CoachT members in the Cleveland / Chattanooga area is that the expected bad weather  this week may cause some rainouts of basketball games.

Post here if you hear something about the OR at CHS Tuesday night game or the OR at East Hamilton Thursday game.

If I hear something I will post here, Facebook and Twitter. My guess is  David Clary on Twitter will be the first person to put news on Social Media.

BTW, Jeremy Miller has put on Twitter a season highlight tape that shows his versatility and athletic skills. Just search Twitter for " Jeremy Miller. "

RWR!

CLEVELAND VS OR BASKETBALL...Ten hours ago, the Cleveland City Schools tweeted on Twitter that the City Schools would be closed today (Tuesday, Feb. 11) HOWEVER athletic events would be played as scheduled. A lot can change between now and 6 pm so don't leave to come down to Cleveland until you have the most up to date info. I will try to update later.

David Clary tweeted they are going to have the games on their various Internet sites and radio stations. Cleveland City Schools still have the games being played as well.

This season’s games between OR and Clinton is how it’s supposed to be and most always was in the past between the two teams. It is very hard on my blood pressure, but it’s fun as he%# to watch. A very heated rivalry.

Did you see the cheap shot the kid from Karns took at Miller?

    • From my understanding, Jay Graham pretty much took over HC responsibilities in that game, so you can thank him. Cute Andy didn’t need help, though. Cute Andy could’ve beaten us without any assistant coaches.
    • Tax payer dollars are paid for certified teachers to "teach" and then coach. The primary job is to teach.  There are some district that ay awesome supplements and others that don't. Dyersburg and Dyer County are pretty close if I remember correctly. I would imagine that Football and basketball are above $10,000 now.  I've heard that Milan is $20,000 for boys basketball. I would imagine that football is more than that in Milan.  Collierville has camps that coaches get paid extra for. 3 camps a year, 100 kids a camp, $30,000 right there.  There are places like Memphis-Shelby County schools where the supplements are garbage even for the head coaches. I made less than $3,000 as the head assistant at Germantown in 2015 when we were 26-4 and one of the best teams in the Southeast. As a head middle school coach next year I will make between $4-5,000 at a municipal in Shelby County.  Coaches should be compensated for the jobs that are required but lets keep in mind that they are educators first.  It's pretty frustrating to other teachers that work their tale off teaching 6-7 classes a day to watch someone roam campus, not teach (or have very minimal responsibilities), and get paid the same (more with supplements) as a person who has the some years of experience or sometimes less.
    • This will get coaches leaving the profession very quickly if this kid wins this case. This is absurd...
    • yeah money aint right there anymore
