Are you the Greenback historian?

If so, would you please give me the history on Greenback vs TSD. (Tennessee School for the Deaf.)   I know this is off topic but it's sorta personal in nature.  You can sent it via private message me here on CoachT.  Thanks.

“GAME DAY” The game has the feeling of a State Championship game. Old Pirate says the Pirates have to play Fast and Furious while protecting the ball, limiting penalties. Play with Pride with a No surrender mind set while focused on “IT’S COMING” on every play!

Old pirate I garuntee you up early putting the jock on arent you? Or did you just get through work that Thursday night match you have? I garuntee you I aint joking either.

Well here we are, GAME DAY! Bittersweet that PirateMike will not be with us but Howiesmashville and I plan to be loud enough for him to hear us. Two dominant teams, two totally different styles ready to fight it out tonight at Cooper Field. Feuding aside, it’s just kids playing kids in a  game they love and the game we ADULTS continue to be passionate about. Let’s line them up, blow the whistle and let the boys on the field battle to the end. Win of lose, the players and fans are in for a treat tonight. High school football at its best will be on display. Praying both teams keep their emotions in check no matter which way the pendulum swings tonight because all players will be needed on the field next week to face the winner from the west. Best of luck to both teams, with most of that to my Pirates of course. At the end, shake hands, walk off the field with your heads high. The memories will remain with you always. See everyone a little later today, ITS SHOWTIME! With that said, a late score seals the deal...

Thanks again to everyone who offered to help me and PirateMike our tomorrow night. Unfortunately, due to some setbacks during surgery he was not able to leave the hospital and will sadly NOT be in attendance at the game. His heart is huge and his love for the Pirates will still be heard many miles away. I will be at the game and doing anything I can to keep him updated and sharing some of the highlights with him. Keep him and hisrecovery in your prayers.  Go Pirates!

That's sad to hear. Hopefully his recovery goes well enough AND we play well enough that he can watch us play next week.
