Loudon vs Alcoa semifinals

Gonna be a tough matchup for our Redskins, I do wish Alcoa defensive end was playing for the Redskins, his dad was a great 3 sport athlete for us. I used to carry him on the basketball court when he was a young Sophomore (I'm just giving you a hard time Lee...lol). Good luck to both teams and I just want a good and injury free game.

Not sure about that. Personally,  I would put AE, Red Bank and Loudon up there with Giles, Covington, East Nashville. Tough hard nose football teams. At this point,  Alcoa has to play lights out! Loudon has a great Offense, and it will be a challenge to stop with a great QB, that has a beast RB, Drew Jackson, and very good WR's. They have great balance offensively like Alcoa. I think the Red Skins will score some points. But,  the question will be their defense? Can they stop Alcoa's play makers on Offense? They did Red Banks!

I hope the game will be another challenge, like the AE game was,....... because the next games for Alcoa will be no joke! 3A football this year is tough!!!:thumb:

Yea, they didn't take AE as a joke either, but the Roadrunners  scored almost as many points on that crazy 3-4 defense as that total combined regular season. 36 points scored in 10 games,(including the Maryville game)and THEN 28 in one game? Yes, I saw that game!!!

Yes, the offense played great and controlled the game and got the win. But, thats a bunch of points to give up this late in the playoffs. Yes, that was against second and third team defense in the 4th quarter. And the biggest yes, Coach Nix, figured it out and shut it down! :thumb:

But, what if you're playing Covington or Pearl Cohn?.....that maybe as good or better than the last two Covington teams that Alcoa had a tough 4qtr game with? That's the concern?

Maybe I lost some of my maroon tinted glasses after the Maryville game.......

I expect Alcoa to beat both of their remaining opponents and bring home another Gold ball, but again. Loudon will be a good test for the defense. The firepower on offense will be too much for the red skin to overcome.

Loudon had a great season! Booger know better than Bo knows!

So, there....some sugar for candy butts that can't stand a reality check and need me to predict Alcoa winning 49-0 in every game!:thumb:

    • Well well well,  It was just a matter of time before the wheels fell plumb off the dragon wagon, and that pos  is sittin' over on highway 61 #### up in the ditch.   I called it 2 years ago everybody thought it was so cute with the church van and the K-town basement boys.   And here we are.  This is about to get fugly.  It's a mess and it's about to go public.   Investigators are just now scratching the surface.  Stay tuned.  Watch the news in the next few nights. Just when you thought you had seen it all, here we go......................
    • I am betting on that one too. They will rock 4A. Many don't see it coming.
    • So Reado left because Smith left? That seems like Smith just pulled the rug out from under him and left Reado hanging. Why didn't Reado just stay on and coach O-Line. I am sure he could have done a great job. He has been successful before at CAK and Grace Christian of Knoxville. Is private Christian School coaching that much different than coaching public school, and it also being BHS at that?
    • What do you mean they’re exaggerated? In the time he’s been there he has officially hired 10 coaches who are no longer a part of the program. That is a fact. If anything I’m underreporting the number who have left. Only one left for a better job. Having that high of a turnover rate is a major red flag.
