I doubt it will get in the 50’s.  Westmoreland is very good on defense.  Offense advantage goes to MC but Westmoreland is terrific on D.  Best defensive  team we have seen all year.  They pressure the ball and take away driving lanes.   Wish I was there to watch it.

This was never really a game tonight macon showed they are a contender for the state. 46-29 was the score in favor of macon. Westmoreland only scored 1 point in the third quarter that will bite u every time. macon is a better team by far and Westmoreland has a chance to go a long way this year but not sure they can compete with many teams if they make it to state. Macon will b tough again next season as well and Westmoreland is a team on the rise.

I agree that Macon is the better team but it kinda made me laugh when you said you wasn’t sure they could compete with many teams in the state tourney.   Oh how quickly people forget.  Wins at MC and Upperman at home shows me that they can beat any team in the state with a good night.  They held MC 20 below their game average twice this season.   A defense like that will put you in the game with anyone.  It was a around a 7 pt game at the half.  That third quarter killed them.  And MC is just too good of a team to close that gap in the 4th.   I think the Eagles could easily go deep into the  tournament.  Hopefully there is a round 3 of this matchup.

Macon had their worst game in 3 years against Westmoreland at macon and after beating them for over 5 years straight without a loss to them they did kinda take the eagles for granted. Like I said Westmoreland is improving a lot but im not sure if they will make it to state or beat anyone if they get there. these 2 teams could play 10 times and macon would win 9 of them.Macon will not have an easy road by any means but if they play with full throttle and have no injuries I think they will make it to state for the 4th year straight. And I would bet the farm the eagles  could not beat upperman again.

No doubt MC will be in final 8.  That was never debated.  I am not a Westmoreland fan but I can see without the blue glasses.  Westmoreland forced MC into a bad game!  Twice.  One quarter changed that game last night.  I never said MC wasn’t the best team.  You just don’t give the other team credit.   How many teams will Macon play that holds them in the 40s twice?  I am betting NONE.  And Westmoreland followed up the first win with a win against Upperman.  They also beat my Lady Cavs.  They have more than proved that they can beat the top teams in AA.  Ask Coach White if that team isn’t dangerous.  Good luck the rest of the year.

im not saying macon will make it to the final 8 but they are very capable of it. Im not saying Westmoreland isn't good cause they are tons better than the last few years but they always struggle at the end when they do have a good team. to b quite honest im kinda glad they beat macon the first time cause it woke them up a little my point was if u will look on page 1 of this post after the first time the eagles beat them was I if they do it the second time ill b a believer. That didn't happen u can have a good D but u also have to score.

Macon was the better team friday night, is what it is. Some of our girls that typically have a key impact didn't play very well at all.... But don't get it twisted sister! We are still a very good team! They will get the kinks worked out and get back on the right track!!

Typically high school girls basketball, the dominate defensive team will win early in the season, then once everyone else hits a groove offensively ,margin of victories shrink and losses increase.Westy will need to learn how to score and the coach will need to make adjustments. To win the big games one has to score ,period.

Got to make it to state before u cam compete. This is the best lady eagles team I have seen in many years and they will b good next year but they got to get scorers. u have to put points on the board to b a state contender not just D.
