Thanks guys but the shirts are gone . The players wanted to wear them to school and one teacher thought they were offensive, and the wearers were made to change shirts. We told them they couldn't wear them to school but kids are kids. We can't do something that's gonna get a kid in trouble. Plus they were expensive! haha. Heck I can't even say Wildcat Whoop #### on the T! See?

It had a GOOD run though!

WILDCAT PRIDE

ROLL WILDCATS ROLL

I wonder if the teachers understand not everything in life is either fair or PC?  Once they learn that cold hard truth they may understand life a little better.

Bounder, Merry Christmas Brother.  At least we can still say that to one another.  Some of the PC crowd around here may get told where they can stick their PC Happy Holidays as some of us still remember what the actual 'Holiday' is for!

Guys, we have an inferior head coach!!  Until OR realizes that, then all OR fans will have to do is make excuses.  Rosser will have played in 3 state championship games in 6 years, winning two of them.  He will double Joe’s state titles in just six years.  Joe has to go if we ever hope to play for state titles again.

I would say be thankful with what you got because it could always be worse. It’s not like Joe isn’t a good football coach.

I am watching on Direct TV, High School Scoreboard Live, a show that covers football in Texas.

Next week, they will play their Semifinal Playoff games. One semifinal pits two team 500 MILES APART!!! That is just crazy nuts. They did not say but I hope the two schools have agreed to play the game somewhere halfway between the schools.

Would you travel 500 miles to watch Oak Ridge in a semifinal playoff game???

No. But I would Maryville. The die hard OR fans would travel that far, especially in a semi game.

I mean it’s not like Oak Ridge isn’t a competitive program each year. Point blank, Rosser is at Central not Oak Ridge so move on and have some respect for the coach that you got bc he’s a good coach. Yes Rosser would be great at Oak Ridge but why leave central for OR when he’s in a much easier region and side come playoff time to get to the title game. It’s working out pretty good for him right where he’s at and central has just as much or more talent than OR each year.

    • He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
