I think the OLine will be as good or better than last yr.We lost couple of solid guys but return at least 5 that have started or played a lot.Im interested to see how Hewitt develops because he has the frame that you want in an OT.Started as a soph and should make a big jump

Jayden is a soph. WR and DB. Gaddis expects him to play on both sides of the ball. Could be OR's fastest player.

Jabrice is from Louisiana but was hurt all last season. Gaddis says he will be a factor at RB, WR ad DB.

Can anybody tell more about either player?

 

Jayden is super fast and I cant imagine anyone on the team being faster.He got reps as a FR WR last yr mainly plays that was just for him to try and take advantage of his speed.Ive not seen him in awhile but he was really small.Once he matures and puts some weight on he could be a really good player.For sure a big play guy.Ive never seen Jabrice play but another weapon sounds great.We still need a couple of good CBs to step up.

Jordyn Potts C/O 2023 from Powell won the Gunslinger this weekend.  Lot of good talent there.  Had a Kentucky commit, Chandler Wilson from Carter, Stone Hatmaker from AC, the the OR boys.  Potts put on a show.  Was impressive.  A lot of local talent at the QB position.  Should make for a fun year in HS Football. (if we have one)

I have already dreamed that Oak Ridge returns the opening KO vs Hardin Valley for a TD. Probably by the soph. Williams. He also returns the KO vs Henry County in the State Title game.

Special times ahead because the team is made up of the usual talent blended with GRINDERS of Wildcat Warriors.

Remember, Wednesday from 5pm  - 7pm at the Practice Field the Boosters will be selling OR masks for $10.00 Two colors, black and gray. I think children sizes will be there tomorrow along with Adult size.

Week 2 - Dobyns-Bennett @ Oak Ridge

Most likely will not be playing football week 2. I hope there is a way to make that game work anyway later in the season. DB has open date week 4. 

This is the 100th season of Indians football and potentially the best Indians team in decades. It's just not the same when OR isn't on the schedule. Good luck Wildcats on this season.
