Not a close dual match and Wilson Central took the Irish out back to the woodshed. The final had to be something like 50 something to 20 something. Wilson Central has a good team and FR is no where near what they have been in the past. Just by watching and listening to the video stream the Father Ryan team appeared to be much smaller physically than WC. Often times the FR wrestlers seemed to be wrestling up not one but two weight classifications. Just as an example it said that the 182 FR wrestler weighed in at 165. You cant do that and win against good competition! WC looks to have a young but very competitive team.

I disagree with the term dynasty when referring to Wilson Central. They have had very good teams in the past and have a good team this year but they have not built a dynasty. After they win 10 or so state titles we may be able to say they are a dynasty. There are only a true handful of teams in Tennessee that we can say are true dynasty programs. Finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th numerous times in Tennessee where you have 3 divisions (no fault of Wilson Central's) for wrestling is not a dynasty. Again they are good but are far from being a dynasty.
