My wife passed away about 11 years ago.  3 days after Christmas

I apologize then but you came at me insinuating things and telling me to write him a poem because I said he has good stuff on here. I was minding my own business and you started so I finished it.

I didn’t know about your wife. I’d I had I wouldn’t have made the comment. You were looking for a comeback from me so I gave you one. However, If you hadn’t been a jerk to me for no reason it wouldn’t have been said at all.

Don't sweat it.  Like you said, if his wife has indeed passed, you had no way of knowing it.  He throws punches below the belt on here all the time, but doesn't like it when people reciprocate.

I'm straight forward and I call a troll a troll.   You guys feed the beast when you come back at him.   Most of what he posts is for the sole purpose of hitting a nerve with someone.   I don't like childish games so I try my best not to provoke him because he gets off on it.   I'd suggest you do the same.

On point. It has gotten to the point of disgust.

You told me to write a poem for southtowner. Everyone knows what you were insinuating. You took a shot at me so I reacted. Don’t take unnecessary shots like you did and it doesn’t happen. If you think you can go around and take shots at folks and them just take it then you’re mistaken.

    • Tyler Williams was the logical choice to be named head football. He served as the Highlanders’ strength coach and offensive coordinator.
    • I went to practice yesterday and liked what I saw for the most part. Derek and crew have done a good job during the off-season. I was very impressed with the size of some of those boys on the offensive line. My only regret was one of the boys I was really pulling for to have a good year was dismissed from the team. I have to applaud the coaches for setting examples for the others, no one is bigger than the team. One other thing, I was hoping with that big rain we got this week some of that  yellow paint would dissolve but it didn't.
    • Couple of thoughts: 1.  I just don't understand all the intricacies in TSSAA transfer rules anymore.    William Blount had a kid that played the final part of the basketball season with them this year,  that played at Hardin Valley last year, and played football for Bearden this year.  I say that to say, I know the coaches and the AD and the Principal at WB and I will never believe they would do something they knew was wrong.  They are men of character.  I BELIEVE the same thing about the coaches and administration at Maryville.  Call me gullible, but these are men and women of integrity in my experiences with them. 2.  Much like the transfer of the Clemmer kid a couple of years ago, with Smith, the football team is getting a huge boost, but the impact on the basketball team will be just as great or maybe even greater.  With Smith playing post, it frees the Sigmund kid who will be coming back from injury, to play more with his face to the basket.  The Rebels basketball squad in my mind, will be "the program" in East Tennessee next year.
    • Could not agree more. After this year, McKenzie's new coach will have their work cut out for them. Staying in 1A would definitely be a huge plus. Most years there is not much difference in the top 5- 1A and 2A teams across the state, but after the top 5 or so there is normally a huge drop off for 1A. Regular season region play is a lot easier for 1A in West TN  right now.
    • Word is Jason Maxwell will be new AD - he is currently head baseball coach. Also heard Roc might be headed to Pope as an assistant coach.
