Don’t forget that the McCallie Invitational wrestling Tournament MIWT is thIs weekend too.   Historically, year in year out the MIWT is the toughest Individual tournament in TN and this year it looks to be one of the toughest MIWT tournaments ever with as many nationally ranked wrestlers and D1 commits that have ever been at a tournament held in TN.

Just out of curiosity, who all is coming that is ranked nationally/committed to a D1 school?

Don't think I have ever seen a McCallie tournament with no TN teams but McCallie. I usually try and get to the tournament but I don't care about GA wrestling so I don't think I will head down this year. Not sure why all the TN teams pulled out, I loved this tournament when I wrestled in it prob my favorite besides state.

some of the top Sophomores in the country Who are on Flo’s big board for class of 22

      I used to think like that many many moons ago.  I wondered the same questions but learned that it is just not that easy.  Hiring assistant coaches can be complicated at times.  It takes a few years for HC’s to get who they feel is right for their system.  Couple that with good assistant coaches getting better jobs at times and leaving your program. More to it than some think.  I think you have a good coach up there and time will tell that story.

      You’re right, I shouldn’t jump the gun on it. Hopefully it isn’t related to the sports programs, because it’ll end up affecting a lot of innocent kids who just enjoy playing sports.

      I totally agree but just don’t want to see people jumping the gun by insinuating it was for athletic reasons. Nobody knows at the moment except for those involved in the incident itself and those investigating.
