Pickett Co vs Clarkrange

Clarkrange 6-1 visits Pickett Co 6-0  tonight with Clarkrange wanting it to be Coach Roger's 1218th win to set the all time record for wins by any coach at any level. So they have a huge incentive to win. Clarkrange may have a loss but it was to Macon Co, one of the best AA teams in the state. PC is ranked #3 on Coacht and Clarkrange #5, but Clarkrange was voted #1 by the coaches before the season and PC #2 in the district. Also Clarkrange is defending district and region champs. For an upset by Pickett Co. they will have to guard against the 3's and Abbi Bilbrey will need to block some shots under the basket when the twins drive in. Also, they will have to play their best game of the year. Win or lose, this is the kind of game fans look forward to! Congratulations to Coach Rogers on tying the record at 1217 last week.

I say Clarkrange by 15+

Don't know a lot about Pickett County other than they got a lot of tradition and are usually tough. I do know quite a bit about Clarkrange and they are good. I am going to go Clarkrange by 8.

Clarkrange is tough. Will be a handful for any one in the state.

It always does the two 5 foot guards won’t handle length of others. they play nobody until state

They play fast. Their pressure defense is good too. I see them every year at the MTSU summer camp and they smoke a lot of good teams. They are in the top three for sure in Single A, IMO.

Agree. In summer they do but Lor. st and gf are much different with size

Totally agree, great high school basketball players, no doubt. some of the best fundamental game skills you will see.  Give credit where credit is due for sure. Just don't think CR could beat Loretto or Greenfield.

I agree with you, there’s some teams out West that are pretty good, and North Greene is pretty good this year has well. The reason I said Clarkrange by 15+ is, I know how good Macon is and they played right with them, and I saw Pickett play right before the season and also, if I remember right, Meigs scrimmaged Pickett this summer and won by around 25. I will get to see NG in a few weeks, and see how good they really are.

Midway was one of the quicker teams we played last year. The East side didn't get a lot of love last year but if they had had a big post they would have been really tough. North Green sounds like they are for real beating up on South Green. Greenfield and Loretto are teams that you must have your A + games on to beat. I think most teams have a better chance of keeping a game close with Loretto than Greenfield simply because of Greenfield's press and defensive pressure. They are playing really good defense this year.
