Congrats to Eduardo Gonzalez from Cosby! First All State player we have had in several years and first EVER All State Kicker! He also led the team in rushing yards and tackles...lol got to love small school football!

Hard for me to believe the rb from Peabody didn’t make this list. Got a D1 a scholly and dominated the second half of the state game to lead his team to the win.

He made it as a linebacker.

When does the list come out that we usually see? They usually have a write up about it in the Chattanooga paper. I have only heard about this all state team mentioned here recently.

Lake County had 2 more kids that were doubt that should have been on it. Not taking anything from any kid that made it

I know "everybody gets a trophy" but what kind of all-state team has 4 QBs, 4 RBs, 4WRs, 8 ATHs and only 5 OL? Seems odd. I guess they don't care about the big boys' feelings.

Just like society... the folks who actually do the work hardly get any credit. There used to be a "Mr. Football" award for linemen, but who wants to waste an award on those not in the limelight?

Congratulations to Colby Rogers from Bledsoe County he made it for ATH but carried his team on both sides of the ball, really good players.

Hey no offense but this is surprising to me. 2 Copper Basin kids on the team but only 3 SP. I also agree with another poster. I’ve never seen 4 QBs on an all state team. I am curious when the regular all state team you are talking about is released though.
