Westview is still trying to find themselves in the season. They've been without Callins, North Alabama signee, for nearly a month. She's just now getting back into the swing of things. Westview has one of the best playmakers in AA ball in the freshman PG. This senior group has been to the state tournament every year, whether they get over the hump or not and win a state championship will be up to them. But Westview will hit its peak at state tournament time, promise you....

I do know Westview will have it’s hands full in the region and sub-state. Dyersburg, Westview and Covington can make it to state. Only two of them will make it. I agree Westview can beat anyone on a given day. Callins is such an important piece to the puzzle that they have been without until now and she still has to get in the flow. They for sure have a good enough team to win it all. They have always played half court and played slow with the bigger posts. Don’t know if that is their best strategy this year though. We will see. Macon County is tough though for sure. Will be interesting to see.

Let me tell yall a sleeper and that's Westmoreland. In my opinion they are a much better team than upperman.

it's sad when the kids (players)suffer from unfair grudges  (calls )refs have against coaches. and might add the assigning head ref influence who gets assigned. Refs make a difference in games and need to leave personal grudges outside the gym.

Macon has won 3 in a row against upperman. Chances are very likely to b 4 and 5 in a row before this season is over im not saying it will but highly likely and here's why. Since the levy girl graduated is been different for upperman she was in a class all by herself and one of the best I ever seen play. She could beat u by herself. Upperman has good players now don't get me wrong but u can't coach what this girl had. Macon has a lot of good players with speed and lots of experience if one don't do it the other will and depth on the bench to go with it.The levy girl made every player in the district better including macon big time.

Referees do not get paid enough to have personal grudges.
