SP had more recruits last year. Just didn’t get it down the stretch. Looks like they are trying to step up their game this year and fill needs......

SP didn't have 6 transfers and certainly didn't have any with significant playing time. GB had 6 transfer in in the summer and start.

Poor BPM is still lost in the smoke & mirrors. Old Pirate ain’t heard of a nary transfer fer serious needed spots? The Captain needs to recruit the hallways @ SP, there is talent lost sitting in the stands.

Gordonsville will do some growing this year, but 2021-2024 should be good for them.

You are a running team. Your inability to pass the ball and mix up the offense has kept you from the gold ball in recent years. Wouldn’t getting a starting qb and wr from another school be considered “filling a need”in your case?

We have an upcoming senior 3 year starter returning @ QB, lost 1 WR/backup QB. Pirates are thin in lineman. Injuries there would really hurt. Early reports are 70+ out with several charted to provide depth in the line but young & playing time needed to be a factor. Another 6-5 WR that has missed due to injury is a hopeful key piece.

Their region 4 will host the quarterfinals unless two region 3 teams are left standing.  So the road to the semifinals runs through it.

It will depend on how many Coca-Cola job openings are available for the Tribe of Many Nations.
