It was not strictly personal...that was the spin that he wanted out there. It was a combination of many issues leading up to it that were both personal and professional. He was correctly dismissed for the sake of the school and the program. That's about all I can say...it had to be done and the school did the right thing. As for him getting any other job, that is their call completely. I'm sure they will do their due diligence behind the scenes.

Jake Cabell is the new coach at Whitwell.  He was the coach at West Creek in Clarksville once upon a time and prior to that he coached college football in a few stops.

He certainly sports a good resume.  Whitwell might not be down long.

I hope they're not down for long. After all that they have been through over the years with a revolving door of coaches, they deserve more than a couple of good seasons.

Agree.  I prefer all 3 teams in the county be strong.
