Nothing would surprise me in all but one of these games, but with Stone as a 3 seed, they are probably the favorite vs East Ham. Hayes will have to stay out of foul trouble (unlike tonight). White Co seems to be peaking at the right time, so they should handle McMinn Co. A semifinal matchup with Stone should be a good one, with a trip to Sectionals on the line.
Interesting matchup with Tony Williams heading to Rhea Co to play against girls he coached in MS (although I think a few of those girls may have ended up at Meigs Co). Was Hampton at Rhea Middle when he was up there?

The stone game is at East Hamilton. So not a more familiar court.

Stone beat EH by 24 when they met earlier in the season, but that was AT Stone and it was early in the season. I hope the lady panthers can control the game and come out on top again. Not even looking ahead until that game takes place.

I think Stone will win, but I keep thinking Hayes will turn it on in a big game, & she may only have one more opportunity left...

I’m counting no chickens until they hatch. One game at a time... Hayes is legit, and no doubt she will fight for her season to continue.

Jacelyn Stone was the only girl from Rhea to head to Meigs. I’m not sure of the years Coach Williams was @ Rhea middle.
Should be an interesting game for sure.

Tony Williams coached those seniors as 8th graders, I think they went 24 and 1 with the only loss coming to Meigs middle that year. Those girls have always been winners.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
