Wow.  Can you elaborate on why?  Watching them play last night, WC is extremely athletic, and well rounded.  I'm a Loretto fan, and I feel it will be a single digit game.

 

I just wonder how in the world did WC lose to Bruceton after seeing both play last night.

Coach Tipps and the main core is experienced in post season play. They played a tough regular season schedule and did very well. Has a Single A team besides Eagleville gotten within single digits to Loretto?

They have not.  I hope you are right.  Winning by 18 is much less stressful than one that goes to the wire.

WC will pressure you and play in your face defense.  I haven't seen Loretto other than when they walked by me the other night after our ballgame.  I would say though if they can utilize their size on the inside and slow the game down, they can control WC.  I don't think WC has the height to play inside with them. WC has shooters.  The Moore kid for WC can shoot.  He didn't get much of an opportunity vs McKenzie b/c he got into foul trouble early.  

I am going with Loretto due to their size advantage in close one but it would not shock me if WC doesn't pull the upset.

How did WC lose to Bruceton in the District Tournament??  I've never in my life seen a team heave up so many 25-30ft desperation 3's. Off balance, man in your face, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

When I realized they beat WC, I just couldn't fathom how...

That one kid that was shooting all of them was hitting all of them. It is unreal.  And I also believe WC overlooked Bruceton a little. They played with everyone for about the first quarter and then teams adjusted and put a hand in the kids face.

We were up on them like 45-8 at half.  Put our reserves in a few min into the third.  I can't believe their coach allows such low % shots.  90% of the three's they shot weren't even close to going in.

Super proud of our Mustangs!

 

West Carroll played good, tough basketball.  Nothing to hang their heads about.  Fully confident they will take care of business on the road in sectionals and punch their ticket to state!
