Can't lie. After I watched the state championship I was in shock to learn Blankenship had no offers at least at that time. That kid just jumped off the screen to me. I also wish my school was in a position to lose a QB like Sam and Blankenship and not even blink. Alcoa, and embarrassment of riches

That was the reason Blankenship went with Vaulton. To help his chances to play at the next level. Where he is going has a bigger stage and brighter spot lights.

Make no mistake those two will be hard to replace.  Similarly Maryville has Hodge and Davis' shoes to fill. But, both programs will.

You couldn't have said it better. Blankenship is the biggest threat and not only is he an all star at one position but two. When I watch that kid play it's like running into a brick wall for the other team. Great player that will be replacing him that has a real good football sense built into him,
