Eagleville and Fayetteville City should be the early favorites. 3rd place should be wide open, Cornersville lost a lot, Huntland has a lot back with a new coach, Cascade seems to always compete, Moore County was young last year. So should be a improved district.

Below is how is see it and honest opinion

#1. Eagleville. #'s just out weigh other opponents in this district. Coach Bassham will have them ready. 

#2. I think this is a toss up between Cascade, Moore Co and Fayetteville City but will have to give the edge to Fayetteville City with O'Conner possibly the best pitcher in district this year, plus having Thomas back this year healthy along with the recruits they have picked up with the new bus routes. They could make a run for the 1 seed.

#3. Moore Co. Moore Co will return almost every starting position with the exception of catcher. Word in Bedford county is they have picked up a new assistant coach that has coach lots of travel ball. Will be interesting to see how that shakes out in high school ball. I think if they can hit the ball they can compete as well. They may be the deepest in pitching in the district which could help in the end depending on seeding. 

#4. CASCADE. againd 2 through 4 can go either way. Pitching will be key for cascade and if they can stay healthy. 

#5. Huntland. I am giving Huntland the edge over cornersville with stewart on the mound. The key for them is how far stewart can carry them. 

#6. Cornersville. Unfortunatly this will be a rebuilding year for Cornersville. They lost allot of seniors and the new bus routes in Fayetteville City has hurt them with probably their best player having to go to Fayetteville City now!
