Same class as Greenfield, are you serious?  They play that game 10x and Greenfield wins 9x.  Absolutely coaching cost them the game. Loretto won by a couple points and shot 79% from the floor.  They would never do that again.

Since when is 11 points a couple?

Up 2 with 1:39 left and had to start fouling.

You're grasping at straws and are making yourself look bad in the process, where you were at 1:39 doesn't make a difference.  You lost by 11.

Loretto has won by 11 in a neutral atmosphere, and lost by 6 in a home atmosphere for Greenfield.

Greenfield wouldn't win 9 out of 10 times.  And after this year, you won't touch Loretto for at least 6 years.

Then you don’t understand basketball, the game was nick and tuck the whole game and if Greenfields coach wasn’t an idiot they would have won. You are correct however, Loretto with over 450 kids in a Single A school will win over the next couple years until Carly is gone, she is that good.  Greenfield has 125. They are discussing smaller school play again which would kick Loretto, GC, Union City, Trenton and all historically AA schools back up to a more competitive classification over all.

Bad news.  Karly's little sister will be a Freshman when Karly is a Sr.  She is also "that good"..  I'm fine with being classified up.

Greenfield’s press was non-existent against Loretto. That would be my worry if they had played again how Loretto handled it.

Losing Mimi is gonna hurt, my daughter played AAU with her, hard nosed girl. Yeah Double A is not as good as Single this year IMO but larger schools does come with some advantages.  Hate it for all the kids this year. Everything is opinion now. Chinese

Agree, Coach T is hard headed and gave up too many easy transition buckets to them.  Loretto too big to press a lot.

That's why they play the game! My point is...yes you guys were better on "paper" and are this year too. You didn't loose what GC lost due to Graduation this year, so you may very well win. The fact is, we brought home the Gold Ball! Talent doesn't matter when it comes to heart and determination like GC had last year.  Fact is, games like that happen all the time. Greenfield could have shot 80% and won. Our team refused to loose against all odds. Y'all may very well win it it this year and you should,  based on paper. If they even finish it. Which is a travesty. Right now no one is going to win until they decide to play. From reading what coach Wilkins and Trevathan quoted in post game interviews.  It's a sad situation all around. You might want to read what both coaches stated.

Good read fellas, but all of you are biased toward your team and give no real analysis.

Watched all A games last year and all of today’s games and here is an unbiased look at it.  GC benefited from a brawl last year between Loretto/Greenfield. I think all can agree on that. They earned it but the draw helped them tremendously. GC is no where near as good this year and the other 2 are better than last year.

If Greenfield or Loretto played GC 10x this year, GC would lose all 10.

If Loretto and Greenfield played 10x this year (5 home games each) they would each win 5.

Which makes the tournament suspension even more frustrating. The draw was perfect and it was setup to be an epic game that literally no one knows who would have won. Not even MrMiyagi could predict this winner.
