No need to speculate & say whether we would have beaten them or not with Anna. I tuned in on radio late in second quarter & thought I was listening to a JV game (again - nothing against these girls - they are the future of the program, but not quite enough to get a gold ball this year). I think we were just down 3 at half, but sounded like Lebanon got hot & hit some big shots in 2nd half. I hate it for Anna. She’s a warrior. One of my favorite Bearettes to watch. We have some great freshman like sloan carpenter snd mckenna miles. Carpenter is only 14 and she plays like a senior. We couldnt hit shots in 1st half. But the big difference in game was losing walker. Injured ankle last night in practice at utc. They just interviewed her on news right before that. Well have muhonen back next year but we wont have any other post players. Still losing by 9 with 3 freshman having to pull the load os pretty good Quoting you from Sunday: "Lebanon should be a easy game for us." I'm reminded of my youth, where I learned not to count chickens before they hatch. Perhaps crows would be more fitting in your case. 1
Papabearette
So Anna walkers last game was a 25 point substate win! So in 4 years they lost 9 games playing some of the best in the country! Bradley will be back and strong for several years.

Our Seniors will be missed, but our two most athletic players are Juniors along with sharpshooter Midkiff. We had some looks at the end. Come on board there's plenty of room. If us Whitehaven and Maryville folk keep meeting like this, folks may talk! LOL. I didn't follow the game when it was being played, all I have are the stat sheets. That was one heck of a 4th quarter your lady Rebels had there. Seems like I missed a good'un.

I don’t think her teams ever made it that far. Edited March 11, 2020 by FootballFan51
Papabearette
I will let bearettes alltheway deal with hoh!! We lost due to injuries but never the less we lost! Good luck to stone and Lebanon the rest of the way!!
coachinhoops
Congrats Stone Memorial on the dominating performance. Maryville made it a game when it looked like a blow out. Fritz showed why she was a Miss Basketball finalist. Bradley showed tremendous resolve this season as they overcame tons of adversity to get back to defend their title. Fridays final four should be interesting.

Gee whiz, I tease bearettesalltheway about his foot-in-mouth incident and he disappears from here. I was really surprised with the very low turnout of Bradley fans at the game today. AAA tourney teams look to be down a little overall compared to past years. Stone Memorial impressed me more than any team playing today. Whitehaven and Arlington looked good. Papabearette
Bradley is on spring break this week. Many already had plans! I bet the stone and Lebanon crowd would have been smaller if kids didn’t get out of school to come! Love big crowds and loud environments and the players deserve it! Did Bradley not charter any pep buses for the students wanting to come? All the other teams had a great section of students cheering for their team.
