pioneer42
Kentucky Fans will pack the bars in Nashville I will assure you. They will be more exposed in these bars, IMO. It is really a huge distraction in the world and for sure this tournament Actually it is very depressing knowing this has dampened the tournammet. HC116
I would expect them to continue on as scheduled, but with no fans besides immediate family/Media. All the teams on the girls side are already in town and in hotels. Seems logical to me, but who knows.
eastten
I thought attendance was definitely affected yesterday. I expected them to go immediate family only today but heard they’re not doing that until tomorrow. Makes no sense. What’s the difference between today and tomorrow with the info they have now that they can already be planning to do that?

I'm asking as my school is taking permission slips and money for pep buses again.

Said it would be sometime around noon today before they made a decision

It's shaping up the way the rest of the country is restricting or eliminating large areas of contact.....except for Wal-Mart. We'll see how this turns out, but that's the feeling that I'm getting. Hopefully, I'm wrong....but not that often. My streak is alive.....unfortunately.

I guess the TSSAA & University assessed the legal liability, since they had closed their own campus to students....but left it open for high school tournament play. Play 4 Fun
ReedM@hcboe.net,btrue12@hotmail.com,david_meske@webbschool.org,dgoodwin@dcawildcats.org,grant.swallows@whitecoschools.net,henry_steven@hcde.org,jody.wright@knoxschools.org,mcculloughgf@scsk12.org,michel.sanchez@mnps.org,ricky.catlett@chestercountyschools.org,scottg@milanssd.org,srussell@fayetteacademy.com Above is the email for each member of the TSSAA board of control as well as the executive director, Mr. Childress. Please consider sending an email in support of moving the state tournament to a new location, allowing parents, players, and coaches only and FINISHING the tournament. The fact is the kids deserve the closure of playing the boys and girls state tournament out and seeing where they fall. If they don't finish it, they will always wonder what if. It will always be in their mind and never go away. I urge people, whether they have a team left of not, to please take the time to send a group email to the above emails and ask them to reconsider. Mr. Childress has said in an email to me that they will make a decision on tuesday on a conference call. PLEASE let them know that the kids should be allowed to finish and Tennessee should set the example for the rest of the country that we will not be pushed into a state of panic and fear!!
