State Tourney(s) vs. Corona Virus

Based upon what has happened today with the NCAA, and the NBA's decisions, what do you think?  Will the T$$AA go ahead and play the tourney games as usual.  If so, will they allow fans to attend, or maybe a "choice few?"  Will they just cancel?  What do you all think?  I know of one on coacht.com here, who DOES have some inside knowledge, come on what's up?

I think it would be viewed as irresponsible if there wasn't something done by tssaa. The Hysteria has taken over and heavens forbid if they could prove someone actually got sick from being in Murfeesboro. Just my 2 cents. I hate it because Whitehaven was about to sweep the boys and girls championships.

I agree. T$$AA will either continue as normal or call it off completely IMO. It’s all about the money with them. I doubt the let it continue with no fans or very limited fans.

3A-6A state championship games in Virginia (Richmond) are being played with immediate family members and credentialed media only.

However the 1A and 2A championship games are being played as normal today.  Makes a lot of sense...

Since when does sense have anything to do with people? Governments around the globe are cautioning against/banning large crowds and travel, corporations laying off workforces, universities suspending studies, major sports organizations either shutting down or refusing admittance, and people by the millions becoming reclusive in a vain (IMO) attempt at containing the spread of COVID-19. Then you have an idiotic group of Europeans numbering something over 3,500 strong who converged from all over the continent in order to paint themselves particular color of blue and set a Guiness record for the largest gathering ever of human cartoon characters... Smurfs! 

 SMH... you can't make this stuff up.

Shelby County Schools have canceled classes and activites March 13-March 27.

Not sure how this will affect the tournament.

That should mean that their sports teams cannot travel, play or practice

High schools in Memphis were out next week any way for Spring Break.
