Have any of you heard anything about what June looks like for girls basketball? We just found out that Belmont cancelled their team camp, which we had planned on attending. i know everyone would love to know the answers, but I know that nobody has them. I am just curious from a state level, what schools were being told.

It will be interesting to see what the camps do if summer practice starts at some point. A lot of colleges are going to online classes this summer, I know UT Knoxville is. Might be an interesting summer if colleges don’t have camps for High Schools. Do think the TSSAA will have to change Fall rules if stuff don’t simmer down pretty quick. Girls will need to get reps in and practice in to get season ready.

As of right now don’t see much of anything team wise happening this summer.  And yes overall play next season will suffer.  Maybe TSSAA will be smart enough to give teams an extra two or three weeks of preseason practice, something they should have had anyways.  Makes no sense to me that colleges get twice as much preseason practice as high school.  Seems to me it should be the other way around but hey what do I know.
