Rather raise the money with a lemonade stand as to flatter that crooked devil that got his company 5 to 10 million in that small business bailout program while real hard working American Businesses  were denied that money. He is an embarrassment to Blount County and public enemy number one for a list to long to write about. A crook so crooked he couldn't carry his own county because we all know what he is. Setting on top of his mountain building him and his partners castle at our expense is what he is all about.

i think its a disgrace that main thorough fare through town is named for him!!!  need to rename it "The Maryville Dragway "

Drove by the high school after seeing Floyd The Barber this morning.  Didn't look any different to me.

By any other name Maryville will still be the Red Rebels.  That's just who they are.

Wrong.  A school is not it's name, even if the name is or isn't racist or offensive.  A school is the students, teachers, and parents.  If the Washington Redskins can change their name,  anybody can.

How many Maryville fans will stop cheering for these young athletes because they change the name away from Rebels?

The great thing is that you are entitled to your opinion.

Too many people in this day and time aren't happy unless they are miserable and looking for reasons to be offended. it's become a sport all to its own.
