Why can they participate in the postseason if they were caught cheating and put on two years probation. They can raise the $1000 fine in one phone calls.

Oh well they are 6A so I don't really care. Maryville will take them anyway.

Punishment seemed suitable for the “crime”. AD tweets about a player. Not a huge deal.

It is if it is a player not enrolled at his own school who is looking to transfer.  

Not good judgement at all.  

That's the recruiting coordinator's job, by the way.

Really a lot to do for nothing.  TSSAA basically gave them a slap on the wrist.  No post season bands or anything.  Just a few scrimmages, and a week later start date to practices.  Pays to recruit........lol

I'm sure that's probably the only AD,coach or representative of a high school that ever went on social media and said something like that,maybe on coacht under an anonymous name  ? Good thing the regular fans on here are not looked at like the college boosters. Every team in the state would be on probation for life.

Probably not, but when one is involved with a high profile program it's not a smart thing to do. If it were Nowhere High, nobody would have even noticed. But it's one of the highest profile programs in the state. People are going to pay attention.

Oak Ridge has nothing to worry about me on CoachT. I will just do what I do best if the TSSAA has questions for my Internet activity...I will just play dumb. I do that naturally.

I have to go now, I'm recruiting the Knox, Fulton team. What? I did not say that. No hablo English.

It's a slap on the wrist because they have nothing on Oakland that proves they engaged in the recruitment of the player in question. Oakland's success recruits itself
