We have been sent a message from our AD that TSSAA is closely monitoring the mask at games situation.  People everywhere are sending in photos of mostly students but adults also not wearing masks at all Fall Sports, mainly football.   Regardless of positive case numbers, if they think that it is not going to be safe they will shut it down.  I am in no way "pro-mask", but I would like to continue to have high school sports.

I think that's more of a scare tactic by your AD. How can the TSSAA monitor it if they're not there at every sport? 
I don't think the TSSAA will shut it down as long as schools are open, and positive cases don't grow exponentially.

TSSAA has schools sending in pictures of other schools not abiding by the mask mandate. To me that doesn’t make any sense because why are you trying to get all sports shut down. These letters are being sent out.

Do you want High School sports to happen?? Then wear the darn mask. What is so hard about that? Every one wants to complain. Do I like wearing a mask? heck No. but I do it because it is the right thing to do to make sure my son and his friends get their senior year of athletics. Mask up!!

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid..
