Neither one of these teams have any players who could even play manager at Squatch co.

They should probably charge admission to this game and then bring in a screen and show video from Squatch co's practices, just so these people can watch some real football.

Squatch co 49

Grundle co/York  7

lol how do you really feel lol

I don't think you have a clue as to what you are talking about.  I'm pretty sure Oneida did not offer the entire gate:lol:

Our field was offered to play Saturday because the York field was unplayable and yes the gate was offered. For whatever reason that offer was declined. Regardless it didn’t happen and both teams are worse off for it.

I wanted them to play. I know the players wanted to play. So who are saying should've manned up. We could have played friday but the tornado warnings were supposed to be til 7pm then was lifted about 4pm. When it was rescheduled for Saturday, there was forcasted thunder and lightning. But, anyone in east TN know that if you don't like the weather, just stick around a few hrs. I do know that Saturday when the cancellation was decided that York had about 3 inches of water on the sidelines.  It is what it is.  So I hope you're not trying to belittle the players.  I don't know who decided to cancel the game. Don't worry. York will play at Onieda next year if it's scheduled and you'll have home field for the 3rd year in as many matchups.

Unless we play at Greenback then orngnblk won’t have home field. And I can assure you he wasn’t taking a shot at any player or players. We’re Orange and White by the way :roflol:

Dont be so hung up on YAI traveling to Oneida twice in a row. Good grief two years ago the game here was the end of a home away agreement. Last year was a year that both schools were redoing their schedules. Y’all NEEDED an away and we NEEDED a home so BOTH schools agreed on another home away contract. We played our home part and our away game was cancelled for weather and subsequent field conditions. If they schedule each other next year the location will likely be decided by the home/away needs of both teams. Unless we change some teams on our schedule then we will already have 5 road games next season so yes we will likely be looking for a home game.

I understood about last years change of location. It's all good.

I really do hate both lost the game. We both would’ve gotten a lot better from it but I have a feeling it’s just the way this season is going to be for everyone unfortunately.

I'm hoping there no hard feelings between Oneida & York for not playing. I would love to see this series continue next year

I wouldnt think so the Indians have alot of class.I will say in a year like this with no preseason for the life of me cant understand why even if it had to be played at the Reservation it wasnt played, both teams need it.We are off because Sunbright has Covid cases and we also need any game possible.Tellico turned us down for a makeup game. Its gonna be a tough very for alot of teams.

York moved the ball on O descent til they fumbled and turned the ball over 7 times. Out gained apponent 2:1 but couldn't convert. They held the other team to -32 yds rushing and I think the net they had was 84yds. York had around 170.

York had 202 yards rushing to Jackson County's -29. Overall it was York 202 to JC 86. York fumbled at the 1 yard line with just seconds to go. In the 4th quarter York's offense began moving the ball easily down the field. It looks like Sequatchie and Smith are way down this year and Cannon and Grundy are the same. It should come down to York at Upperman Oct. 2.
