If you were a coach in metro would you continue to practice with no game guaranteed?

Yes. The coaches may be teaching fundamentals on the field maybe even schemes. More importantly the coaches are teaching life lessons and in some cases the coaches are the male role models that the kids don't have anywhere else. 

I know the coaches and kids want to play. But even if they don't get to this is a very important time for the coaches to be there for the kids.

MOOOOST DEFINITELY.  for some young men this may be the only man figure they have. Also football is not 100% about the games but the  comerodery and the bond and brotherhood.  It all beats video games all day.

Yes.  I believe most coaches appreciate practice as much, if not more, than games.

I agree, but mainly because the kids benefit from the structure.  Whether they want to admit it or not, kids thrive in structure.  It's the lack of structure that can lead to trouble.

Absolutely. Might be harder to get the kids especially the older ones to be all in the longer it goes though
