Kublah
Two undefeated teams! JCS has easily handled a pretty light schedule so far, but look to have multiple serious weapons on offense. You know they'll have revenge on their minds after last year too. USJ has dominated their opponents so far. I think they're a little more stout up front and will have the best athlete in the field at #1 who is a threat to go the distance every time he touches the ball. USJ's secondary has yet to be tested like they will be this week though. If Couch Stroup is able to come back in the fold I think USJ is about 7 points better thanks to their size up front. Looking forward to a great game!
Bellsburg2
Not much love lost between these 2 teams as the long-time rivalry became an in-region rivalry once again last year. Both teams boasting 4-0 records with stingy defenses (allowing <10 ppg) and prolific offenses (40 and 48 ppg). JCS has all their receiving weapons back as seniors this year, but the new QB has been at least as productive with his legs as he has with his arm in a much more balanced attack. USJ offense made good use of the field position provided by the defense in the first 3 games, but this past Friday night opened things up against TRA. The Bruins may be a little more battle tested by facing slightly better opponents overall. The one common opponent was TRA and both teams dominated the Rebels equally. JCS has good size on the line, but the physicality of the USJ big uglies will be the biggest challenge they have seen to date. With #27 kicking the ball and #1 returning the ball, USJ has the advantage on special teams as they likely will in every game they play this year. This was a one-sided high scoring affair last year but I expect it to be much tighter this year. Bruins should come away with win for homecoming but this one will be a game into the 4th quarter.

Intense
Has JC ever beaten USJ in football? I thought I heard someone one time say that it hasn’t ever happened. Anyone have correct information?

I thought I heard someone one time say that it hasn’t ever happened. Anyone have correct information? Coach t has records online going back to 2001. Since that time, Jackson Christian has defeated USJ a total of four times. The scores of those games are as follows: Oct 4, 2003 JC 48 USJ 26 Aug 25, 2005 JC 27 USJ 8 Aug 24, 2006 JC 21 USJ 7. JC wins D1A state title. Oct 19, 2007 JC 38 USJ 14 A bit of trivia for you. As the former radio voice for Jackson Christian football, I had the radio call of Jackson Christian's Last two wins against USJ. Since then, USJ has won 10 straight against Jackson Christian. The two teams did not play each other in a 2017 and 2018 football seasons. If the coach t records are correct, since 2001, USJ holds a 13-4 advantage in the overall series Edited September 15, 2020 by ReitzFan

I thought JC might have beaten them back when they won the Gold Ball.
CFAfan
USJ wins this big. Not even gonna be competitive in 2nd half.
Intense
Right now USJ is a well oiled machine and I don’t think anyone will compete with them except Davidson Academy. I’m not sure how good King’s Academy and Friendship are. Those two and MTCS are probably the only others that might compete. This is their best chance for a Gold Ball especially if they happen to move up to AA. They would do well in AA but wouldn’t dominate like they have in A. JC may prove me wrong but I can’t see it. USJ’s defense is stout and special teams are extra stout!
BigEdMo
Here is another point. JC is slinging the ball around and putting up points. BUT USJ coaches will throw a completely different look offensively and defensively Something that JC has not seen on film. That is huge in high school when a coaching staff can implement new schemes week to week. But it also helps to have the players that can take it in and produce. Special teams will account for 2 scores this game.
tradertwo
It's almost asinine to predict a game between two opponents when you know almost nothing about one of them, but just because I think that USJ can score on pretty much anyone and that their defense is very stout, I think they win going away. Not being critical of the Eagles, but after seeing the weapons that USJ has, I don't think they can match the Bruins score for score.
