I just wanted to compare the AP and the Max*Preps polls. Sorry about the format issue with the latter. I didn't know how to fix it.

Max*Preps has PC as the #1 team in 3A, ahead of Alcoa. I thought that was really strange, given that Alcoa beat PC in last year's championship and that PC has not played yet in 2020.

Probably was based on what’s coming back and national number but we was surprised also being ahead of Alcoa.

I think Max*Preps is probably all algorithm, since it says rankings. Preset codes that decide who goes where. Thats the only way I could imagine having PC at 1. As for the AP, of course as we know, is voted by statewide media.

Alcoa is the #1 3A team hands down. But we are the 2nd best team in 3A tho!!!

You will have to prove it on the field if you want to get to Cookeville again. And, if I'm not mistaken, y'all would have to come to West Tennessee to meet one of our teams in the Semi-finals this year. At this point, it looks like Covington, Milan, and Westview would be the likely suspects.
