Wanted to reach out and let you know we are going to be having a 7th grade Saturday league here at Mt. Juliet Middle School.  We are looking to get 8 - 10 teams and start Nov.7th and end with a little tournament Jan. 29 - 31.  There will be no team entry fee, we will have a gate and a concession stand.  For more information please contact Jeremy Hawks at 615-979-9207 or hawksjer100@wcschools.com

      HVA is a dump and will never be good at football. It's a baseball school. Look at the types of homes being built and families moving in. Not football families. People will move in and look at the school and choose to play for another program. This issue has been snow balling for a decade now

      You will not be able to replace Dozier he was a stud and wasted for years. Heyward started strong and then fell of but he will be missed still Rembert could fly and was also underused. Not being replaced. Track has started to close the gap with football. It does not help that the current AD is just stealing money(collecting his check) while the assistant AD is a XC/Track guy who always hated football. Current AD is too worried about not hurting anyone's feelings to do anything at all. Heck he is gotta be 70 plus and looks like a fool wearing kid shoes

      As I said somewhere earlier in the thread, the original plans had no outdoor athletic facilities being part of the campus.  The original plan was for HVA to use facilities at nearby schools.  Very late in the process they came up with a plan and found budget to have minimal facilities and crammed them in to space that never was intended for athletic facilities.
