tournaments 2020-21

I think the biggest thing is, What are number of teams at tournaments? travel restrictions? all of that.

Sycamore is going to host a 20 team invite Jan. 16, 2021.  If our seating is restricted we will turn it into a 12 team duals tournament on 3 mats. First 12 teams to respond get a spot. If need be we will set up a 4th mat in the cafeteria to solve the spectator problem. 

I don’t see any other way of doing it at this stage.

I assume some tournaments will get canceled and coaches will scramble to find new places, which is why I reposted this info.  I don't know what the season will look like but,  I assume some coaches will host tournaments that haven't done so before (or in a long time), as restrictions come out.  Anyway I just thought having the list/website would help everyone.

I was informed this week that no out of state teams could compete in TN until possibly after the new year.

Just giving you a heads up just in case you end up needing 5 teams.

I have lots of them   but they all work.  Just don't cc all of them it get annoying getting the same email 5-6 times.   Just pick any email you've ever had for me and it still works.

The TSSAA allowed football teams the opportunity to play out of state teams so why not wrestling?  This sounds like a double standard!

Tssaa has no restrictions. All decisions are based on the counties.
