But dont use the fact you ARE IN a wheel chair to verbally abuse a player and his family (if that is actually what happened) no excuse for either one.

I will say I know for a fact the kid on the other team said something to the wheelchair bounds grandson first, the kid also cussed our coaching staff and multiple other players... Not saying what was said is right, but i am saying it seems that particular kid along with a couple of other kids are hot heads!

Same attitude as last night, With your comment you sure weren't part of the peaceful solution... time to move on. Good luck to you folks back in Single A. And good luck with your coach search after this year!

A peaceful solution begins with not punching an elderly paralyzed guy and not waiting on opposing players and fans at the gate.

No one said anything about Central fans on this thread until you guys vilified Basin fans and the program.

Good luck to the Chargers and congrats on the well-earned win.

Well I was there. So frankly, I don't care what story you were told.

Luckily for the Central fan, I didn't see them punch the man in the wheelchair, who is a paraplegic senior. Otherwise, I would be responding to you fellas from county jail.

I was there when the Central fan got decked. I was there when the police investigated. I was there when the Basin fan elected not to press charges on the Central fan.

There is nothing aggressive about a paralyzed senior citizen. The whole scene was instigated by a group of Central players that decided to wait on Basin players at the gate. #10, #6, and #8. Words were exchanged, a paraplegic old man was punched, and the Central fan was clocked in response.

#10, 6, and 8 don’t need to be waiting on anyone at any gate at anytime.  They are not bad kids, but the first two are very capable of their mouths writing the proverbial check that their butts cannot cash....

I know for a fact that #10 and #6 both have mouths on them!! May not be bad kids but definitely bad mouths!

How did you know their numbers? They still have game jerseys on?

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
