Johnny is a real pro.  One of those guys whom I have tried to listen to in the past when I wasn't working a game.  Since I retired from broadcasting a couple of years ago, I've enjoyed listening to him several times.  Of course, having a former broadcast partner of mine now on that broadcast team is a bonus.  Enjoy listening to him, too.  

Don't know how much longer Johnny is going to go, but enjoy him while he's still on the air.  He's one of the best.

Oh, and as for the game, this is a good McMinn County team.  Just don't think they are at a level to beat Maryville, however.  

6A is just not very strong this year.  In regions 1 and 2 there is a very good team, a good team, and then everybody else.  

And honestly, I see the same in regions 3 and 4.  RuCo just isn't the "SEC of Tennessee High School Football" any longer.  It's Oakland and everybody else.

I actually listen to McMinn County games sometimes on the way home from our games because the station they are on comes in real well in Maryville. I listen to MRN (NASCAR) on their station also. The tower looks to be on the County Line close to Sweetwater.

Does McMinn charge for parking like Bradley does? I'm renting out C-Lot next year when Bradley comes to town. They dupe you at Bradley. You don't know there is pay parking until  you drive 1/2 mile up that parking lot road.
