I'm guessing Haywood, Crockett Co., Obion Central, South Gibson, Jackson North Side, Liberty Tech, will be in 7-4A, but who knows.

BPM, Do you see Region 7 3A being Milan, Bolivar, Dyersburg, Covington, Ripley with potentially Bolton and/or Millington? If it has Bolton and Millington, that's a long road trip for a region game.

Travel-wise 4A would be better. Obion, Crockett, South Gibson, Haywood and maybe the Jackson schools (Northside, Southside, and/or Liberty)

Region 4-4A should look like: 

Livingston Academy, DeKalb County, Macon County, Cumberland County, Stone Memorial, and Upperman

Only changes is the addition of Upperman and the region changing from 3 to 4

Obion will be 3A according to the release today. That may keep us from having to go to Memphis.

According to the link in the first post, they are #148, Smallest school in 4A

The list I'm looking at has Millington in 3A with 761 students and Obion in 4A with 762.  I'm going to give up on trying to figure this out.

Your right I looked at it wrong. It wouldn’t surprise me if they sent a Memphis school up especially with Memphis East coming up to 3A. There will be an abundance of Memphis teams.

It is not. In Tennessee, if you choose to play up, you play up, period. (There was one class period where this was not true, because 6A was fixed to exactly 32 teams, so when Maryville asked to play up, LaVergne--the smallest natural 6A that cycle--could have refused to play down. But they in fact agreed to go 5A.)

I may have made some mistakes, but I tried to pull all of the West Tennessee 4A teams out of the list.

My guess is that the regions might go something like this:

Region 6-4A - Lexington, South Side, Hardin Co., Chester Co., McNairy Central
Region 7-4A - Haywood, Crockett Co., North Side, South Gibson, Obion Central, Liberty Tech
Region 8-4A - Kirbry, Melrose, Craigmont, Ridgeway, Fayette-Ware

But who knows who might decide to play up?
