You play to win the game period.  Even when you ain't favored to win, you still strap it up AND PLAY to win.   You can't win if you don't play.  And when you play,  you play to win.

Can guarantee this rivalry is over for at least two years. Have heard south pitt will not play Jasper the next two years.

No it's a hate hate relationship but we are part of each other's history and it's a shame that a cowardly act did this and a community didn't stand up

Jasper Jailhouse High supporters are finally getting what they’d so willingly earned. The Jasper youngons are suffering over all the devious past & current activities by the adults. Coach Coward got one thing on his mind, It ain’t getting earholed neither. Actually sad the  fan base allowed the rivalry to end but them kinfolkes have mostly always been envious of SP! I don't hate that they hate us.  I love that they hate us.  

That's my take on the relationship.   

And I agree the community should stand up.  Shouldn't the Pirate community stand up to continue their stance that the rivalry should continue?  Or should a few, some, most ,or all agree to Iet cowardness from an outsider end it?  I keep hearing word that it's over. I hope not.

ST, Old Pirates everywhere should stand up against all the devious activities perpetuated on the Pirate program. Do not be fooled into thinking the forfeit was anything more than a cowardly way out of getting earholed while delivering a severe hit to The Captain’s program financially.  Jasper Jailhouse High has to be removed from the schedule to teach them a serious hard lesson. The kinfolkes will one day regret the terrible decisions.
