Bradley

Soddy

Cleveland obviously lost Wood, but I think you see a much deeper team this year with all those talented sophomores.

Bradley would have probably been the favorite had they still had Curry and Berry.

EH returns good talent at guard and they have some size.

McMinn, Bradley and WV will battle for 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Cleveland will win the district again. They have the two best players in McGowan and Hurst, and all those young kids should be ready. Have heard really good things about young stud Jasen Brooks (I believe that’s his name).
Have to admit, don’t know much about EH, but they always have solid athletes.
My sleeper team: McMinn. Ty Runyan (junior) and Davion Evans (sophomore) are two very solid guards. They just don’t have much size.
A name to watch for: Tucker Monroe. Sophomore from McMinn didn’t get much burn last year. He will be McMinn’s best player/scorer by his senior year. With his unbelievable work ethic, he might just make that jump this year.

That’s exactly why I had McMinn 3rd.

You agree with my take on the guards or just the fact that their size limitations as a team is what could hold them back? Not trying to nitpick of course, just wondering what we see eye to eye on.

Their size will limit them against EH. They probably match up well size-wise with everyone else. Cleveland will have to much talent overall for them and they should handle everyone else. I thought McMinn made great strides last season. Obviously with COVID who knows how it all shakes out, but in a normal year I wouldn’t be surprised to see McMinn in the district championship game.
