Gotcha and agree with everything. I’m a Meigs fan first and foremost but enjoy going to watch games of interest in the area. I did a lot of that last year as Meigs was extremely down, but they’ll be much improved this year.

Idk, we’ve had a lot of games dropped from our schedule. Both the Maryville games, Siegel, Hamilton Heights. Been a crazy season. I guess making up district games took priority.

They’ve played them close twice. Wouldn’t surprise me to see WV win. Cleveland is going to have to speed the tempo up.

Saw Bradley tonight against Meigs. Woof. Bradley looked awful. Meigs basically only played 5 kids and is missing two starters (two nice scorers) and one other rotation player due to football still playing. Bradley will get eaten alive by Cleveland and McMinn. Haven’t seen WV or EH to have a judgement on them compared to Bradley. Haven’t seen Cleveland either but know what they have.

I was able to watch the first half. Thought both teams got off to a slow start, and Cleveland was the only team to snap out of it. Cleveland will blow them out when they play at Raider Arena.

I have yet to see them play. Them being in quarantine has them behind a lot of teams chemistry wise thus far in the season. I believe they will get better. Will get to watch them Friday against Bradley

      I used to think like that many many moons ago.  I wondered the same questions but learned that it is just not that easy.  Hiring assistant coaches can be complicated at times.  It takes a few years for HC’s to get who they feel is right for their system.  Couple that with good assistant coaches getting better jobs at times and leaving your program. More to it than some think.  I think you have a good coach up there and time will tell that story.

      You’re right, I shouldn’t jump the gun on it. Hopefully it isn’t related to the sports programs, because it’ll end up affecting a lot of innocent kids who just enjoy playing sports.

      I totally agree but just don’t want to see people jumping the gun by insinuating it was for athletic reasons. Nobody knows at the moment except for those involved in the incident itself and those investigating.
