I wonder how that worked. Shouldn’t Meigs have had a parent allotment do do with as they see fit?

Each schools allotment for “parents” goes on sale the day before it goes public. There were 200 tickets allotted to Meigs and 200 to TC with 600 ear marked for public sale. The allotment for each school is sold through a link sent to whoever is authorized by each school to buy tickets on Monday. Who gets the link on Monday likely varies from school to school or even game to game based on numbers available.

I was referring to Meigs.

We did also but never had a problem. Only had 4 regular season home games and for the big games like SP they brought in extra bleachers and created more seats. We did sell out I believe one game but it was not until three or four days in and every one had more than enough chances to grab one.

Best I can recollect, last time Meigs traveled to the creek bank we had as many fans as Trousdale, this wouldn’t be one of them instances where they keep fans away for competitive reasons would it? Cause you can be rest assured we coming and hells coming with us.

As many fans as trousdale? I don’t think so and i was there. Meigs did bring a good crowd tho.

Back to football now. I think TC will do a decent job of moving the ball and slowing down the game. That will limit Meigs opportunities but I feel Meigs has the Defense to go along with multiple threats on offense to pull away.

A turnover or two could be costly either way.

I am going Meigs 21 TC 14

Honestly I expect a shoot out again. Meigs has a very good offense, TC does the only thing that’s gave Meigs trouble all year, the power run game. TC does that better than anyone Meigs has faced thus far. Got the makings of a very good game to watch.

We had a lot of trouble stopping Oneida and I expect it will be a lot tougher slowing TC down. Our offense has looked good as of late but there has been times this year against you guys for awhile and even a pretty poor Polk squad for nearly a half where a penalty or two caused drives to stall out and forced us to punt. Then it felt like you guys controlled the clock and ball possession nearly 70/30 for the game.

Thankfully it dont take us that long to get downfield and score. I just think TC defense is a another level from what we have seen all year. You can argue SP has just as solid of a defensive squad but SP helped us out with a lot of mistakes, turnovers and dumb penalties on our way to putting up 28 points against them.

I think if we get 28 on TC its a good day

    • Did he promise you a coordinator job or something if he ever got a head coaching job? He resigned? He was at the top of the dugout last night calling plays. I wonder if those 30+ parents would let him give their kids a ride. by the way the board meeting was last night and it was not mentioned. must have been at the work session earlier this week which is not public. must be trying to keep it quiet.  Since you know so much, how much is Robbie Atwood willing to pay Adam Cothron?  Didn't you slander Eden earlier on here? You also didn't know he was a faculty coach again so how much do you really know? Some people outside this county baffle me with their need to slander others.
    • He resigned smh, and have you ever heard of charged but not convicted. Some people in this county baffle me with their need to slander others. Have you asked any of the 30+ parents that signed a petition to get him reinstated at the board meeting this week how they feel about this? Just let it play out, at the end of the day the only people that will bring TC back are the ones that know what its about at its core.    People hate losing and they aren't used to it at TC. I for 1, and I'm sure others too, understand having a dip in talent and not being able to compete for a state title every year. But in the past, TC teams have outworked more talented teams, they didn't continuously lose the turnover battle, they didn't commit 8+ penalties in several games each season, and I believe several of the folks in town that want Blake out feel as if he is neglecting the history of the program. This is from a source that used to be extremely close to the program (not me lol), Blake gets out of school midday and the players show up and there is no practice plan or itinerary.  I also understand those that are on team Blake, when he has loads of talent, he wins. He does know football and he is a tremendous DC, and if the rumors are true then he will do great things. As for the board member issue, it is what it is, everyone that's true to the county know that and nothing has changed. I agree though that they should strive to make the facilities as good as we can. And as far as potential candidates, I agree there is very few options. West, Vetetoe (yes I know), and couple others that could have some interest. Whatever happens is massive for the program during a pivotal time before the next big wave of stars make their way through.
    • McKenzie had no trouble with Huntingdon.
    • Has BA landed any cornfed cowboys to block up front?
    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
