We had a lot of trouble stopping Oneida and I expect it will be a lot tougher slowing TC down. Our offense has looked good as of late but there has been times this year against you guys for awhile and even a pretty poor Polk squad for nearly a half where a penalty or two caused drives to stall out and forced us to punt. Then it felt like you guys controlled the clock and ball possession nearly 70/30 for the game.

Thankfully it dont take us that long to get downfield and score. I just think TC defense is a another level from what we have seen all year. You can argue SP has just as solid of a defensive squad but SP helped us out with a lot of mistakes, turnovers and dumb penalties on our way to putting up 28 points against them.

I think if we get 28 on TC its a good day

Thanks Tiger2.  We’ve shot ourselves in the foot many times this season.  I don’t think TC will make those kind of mistakes so you better make the most of every possession you have. I look for this game to be a 28-21 or 21-14 type game.  Good luck to both.

I agree, Hampton also found success in the power game. The TC defense will test you more than any so far I believe but y’all will still put points up. Question in my mind is how effective can your defense be against them. That’ll tell the tale. Slow them down and get the win in my opinion.

1) capitalizing on scoring opportunities

2) win turnover battle

3) win special teams

4) eliminate penalties

Pretty vanilla and simple in concept, but we all know how that goes

The team that can do that will win this game

That all sounds  well and good.  Coach speak.  But a injury here are there. Turnover here and there could make all the difference..

How beat up are these 2 teams?  Hicks from TC?  How is Meigs injuries?

Thus, why I said, "pretty vanilla"

If you think you're gonna get an accurate injury update on here, I got some Creek front property to sell ya

You forgot to say the team that scores the most points will win the game. You broke it all down but left that out.

They take good care of parents.

Yes, they do I'm happy parents got the tickets they deserve. Blake is a good man like his dad. I also know that Blake tried to find a way for all of TC fans to attend the game by paying at the gate but he was told no.

I don't think either team will get 28 points. But I felt that way last as to and the matchups turned into shootouts. IMO both teams are what each other were  last year. Like Meigs, last year's team TC has a star player (King Cam) and Meigs has weapons all over the field like TC 20019 team. But it will come down to special teams, turnovers and who doesn't beat themselves with penalties in a very close game.

I’m sure the coaches already know..The gameplay has already been installed. I doubt they go to coach t for advice and tips..  Just wondering as a fan.

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
