If you can’t tell, I’m still mad about the State game.  Those kids left it ALL on the field.  Most of the coaches left it all on the field.  I’d like to have been a fly on the wall at halftime in the locker room.

Dont worry, south pitt is getting ready to start a buffalo bills type run. may end up with 4 or 5 State finals losses in a row

Please God, don’t let that happen.  I’d rather go undefeated in regular season and get upset in the first round

Unless the east suprises people here it could be the west( Fayetteville, peabody, mckenzie, Lake county) vs. South Pitt was the next several years. Tons of school would Pay lots of money to finish #2 every year!

I don’t remember an option offense at SP?

Mutliple backs in the backfield, lots of variety with ball carriers, maybe not "option" but very diverse with lots of different looks, sure seemed like an option to me, but  used to be out of the wing T if i recall, now it looked much more 21st century, lots in the shotgun, lots of different looks

Most of the time we just moved a wing over so we had two wings on same side for extra blocking.   Or we would run trips very close to the tackles.  Or my favorite pass that was ALWAYS open was when we had the Allen twins and they would split out with Chubb.  We’d send Chubb deep and another WR across the middle but then the Allen twin would run like a little 8 yards hitch.  We just didn’t get very creative with all of our weapons all season long.  I’d like to go back and watch film with a coach, so that I can be shown what they look for, and then as a fan I can share my ideas.

oh and also another favorite play was the one we always used when we went for two or when we need a two yard TD catch where the receiver would slant inward then stop and run straight out.  It always worked.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
