Elizabethton will be fine next year and will battle it out with the usually suspects in the East in Greeneville, AC, and throw in South Doyle who is going to be 4a.

South Doyle beat the absolute stuffing out of us, they will be way tougher than most people think.   I am glad to see them get out of 5A.

The same to you lawman!  You always have knowledgable comments. For someone who has played in the Betsy vs Greeneville Rivalry and a former coach (Knoxville area), I try to just be real no matter who is playing and catch as many games around Knoxville and watch film on teams from all over the state before I give my opinion on any team.  Shawn has done a great job at Betsy and a lot of these Betsy and Greeneville kids have grown up playing with and against each other and what makes high school sports so much fun!!!!

Everyone knows Betsy is still the champs until someone knocks them off and have given them respect on here.  Now that doesn’t take away from me stating Facts of Greeneville out gaining Betsy by over a 100 yards and were 2 min away from beating them in round 3.  Greeneville came out with a good game plan (that no one else did this year) and return 10 on D and 9 on O that started in that game.   

Elizabethton had 8 OL rotate in throughout the year. They had games where OL starters were quarantined and didn't play. 30 games in 2 years 5 extra weeks of practice. The OL will just reload. 4 year starter will return that kept the big D1 DT from making a stop when he was a freshman. Rollins will be well protected...

The Boone game 3 OL were out and it was a struggle.
