2021 Schedules

I’m hearing Meigs is a no go for y’all as well. Who knows PM, I’m sure making schedules gets crazy and complicated. It’s not always who does or doesn’t want to play. Lots of factors involved I’m sure.

It is stacked for sure. We have played Eagleville for the last 4 years at least, going 2-2 in that stretch if I remember correctly. That was when it didn't count, now they do. Richland was going to stay for the "Battle of Buford station" with them moving to 2A. The additions of Collinwood and Wayne county will make it interesting. Not sure about the last 2 games. Have heard some teams but don't want to throw rumors out. I said it before too just like you did. A really good team or two will miss the playoffs next season.

Agree. Since Huntingdon moves up and Wayne / Collinwood moves to 5 then it could possibly be a sweep of region 6 come playoffs next year. 

The one that scares me is McKenzie as another said. Can't rule out Mcewen, and even Bruceton. I do like the chances though.

Week 2- 1a Gordonsville 

Week 3- Region Westy

Week 4- 4a Dekalb County 

Week 5- Region Whites Creek

Week 6- 4a Upperman

Week 7- Region East Rob

Week 8- Region Harpeth

Week 9- Bye

Week 10- 4a Livingston

Week 11- Region Hartsville

The additions of Whites Creek and Harpeth to the region will make things a little more interesting in a somewhat boring region the past few years. Starting off the season with the 1a state champ will be a tough out. And I’m also glad to see us playing 3 teams from the 4a region (Dekalb, Upperman, Livingston). Next year should be fun while it may be a tougher schedule it will be a whole lot more exciting especially with having Trashdale at the end of the season.

Riverside needs a week 10 away game 2A, 3A, or 4A. Have crowd, will travel.

Upperman is no world-beater now a days. Then again, neither is Trousdale.  Upperman will have more depth and that will be the advantage.

Did Upperman move up next year? Thought they were 3A.

Yes, they are well in 4A numbers.  And they may well be 5A by next classification

Putnam County is growing, Cookeville High is one of the largest schools in the state (awful sports school given their numbers) and Upperman will eventully make it to 5A if not 6A.
