We end up playing the same teams over and over so much that I am really looking forward to the Hampton game just to see a different opponent.     We also open up with South Greene, I think you guys are well acquainted with them but they are new for us.

As long as we can avoid injuries I think playing Daniel Boone will help Hampton going into the playoffs. I am also looking forward to watching the game. As for South Greene, their quarterback is what makes them go. You got to find ways to pressure him but also not let him take off on you. He is a tough one.

Fact. If Hampton can compete with 5a Daniel Boone in week 10 then that would mean much work in the off season and continued improvement throughout the season. Remember Daniel Boone was only a successful field goal away from defeating Elizabethton this past year. I'm excited about this team next season though. Looks like we have a lot of players willing to put in the time.

My cup is half full, love this bunch. Got some size ,talent and the work ethic is Great. Need a couple more but I think we can play 17 to 19 kids, thats really good #s for us.

I'm late to the party but just wanted to say that last year you guys were worried about volunteer and I said you'd steam roll them. Well I dont think you'll blow out Boone BUT you guys winning won't surprise anyone outside of Boone. Its way to early for predictions but im calling it now. Hampton wins and pulls off an upset in this one.

I already called it on January 15,   we are losing 20 seniors so 2021 will be a rebuilding year for Boone.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
