I’m going to say he was easily the best OL we’ve had the past several years as well. He was 1 of only a few players I saw that started both ways. I agree with you that losing him was a irreplaceable loss for this team. 
 

On this all state deal. I tend to agree with the other guy. Is this a certified team or what?  Someone just decided to make them an all state team? Stuff like this shouldn’t happen. There is no way of knowing how many coaches responded back to anything. The team listed on this page isn’t a true all state team. Just my opinion on it.

I guess he can but that means we all should compile one. Before you know it, everyone will be all state. It just diminishes the honor when more and more people start “naming”  their own all state team.  “Oh I don’t agree with these picks so let me make my own team.” That’s where this is headed is my point. At least with the recognized teams they have some sort of a committee that picks the teams.

Just wondering. When I was listening to the game on the radio they were talking about what a loss it would be on the defense.My son got invited to the East West all star game.

I'm still not seeing the point on what it matters if someone picks their own all State team?

Congrats to your son and you!  Stone would have been a shoe in if Mr. Football still had the lineman.  His play on either side of the ball would have got him on the list.

I am sure. You guys had a great team. I have no clue how you decide on any of the all state stuff. I’m sure there are many deserving kids. It would be hard to do if you ask me.

From the all state teams I’ve seen in different sports the last few years, and the clear mistakes on some left out, I’m not sure if an individual putting it together isn’t better.

I personally don’t see an issue with whoever making whatever list they want. I disagree with how good the list is, but the AP is suspect most years as well.  It’s still a free country, at least until January 20th.

But if you wanna point fingers, why does this Republican led state govy receive millions more in tax payer money every year than we pay in?  I thought Repubs were about draining the swamp, small govt, and helping yourself... not using Democratic led states tax money to pay their peoples welfare checks and bail out corporations.

Guess I'm wrong.

California, New York, Texas and Florida are the top 4 states for collected Federal Revenues.
