Despite graduation loses, both North Side and Hardin Co. have some key players returning.  Obviously, both teams have their strengths and weaknesses, but they have the potential to give each other a good game.  I agree with ya...it's cool!

"I completely disagree but they don't play the games on paper!"  Although you did not explicitly state it, the inference seems to be that I do believe the games are played on paper.  If you'll look back several posts, you will see that I said, "Head-to-head competition decides the outcome."  If you care to check my post history, you will see that I have stated the game is not played on paper in several, if not numerous, posts.  So, in reality, I guess we actually agree once again.  The games are not played on paper!

Great post! I wish the T had more people like you. It seems like we go through people that get on here emotionally charged up and talk crazy from time to time, but I personally, appreciate a good honest discussion. Unfortunately, it is hard to find that now a day. People take everything so dang person or it turns into a political debate...  Again, great post. I am just excited that we are about to play some real football!!!!

Thanks.  I'll be the first to admit that I take things too personal, but I do try to be level-headed and objective in my response.  Unfortunately, I don't always succeed.  I'm excited that we are about to play some real football as well...maybe too excited!

I'll take HC plus 7 all day vs. Cordova... need to find someone to take that action. I'm like you, I'm somewhat invested in my team but I'm also very familiar with Memphis football. The fact that they sat out last year and had some talent drained is a big issue for even 6A schools there right now.

I hope y'all will reload and come back strong.  I have always had a great deal of respect for Hardin County's athletic program.  What do you know about the new QB?

I honestly don’t know a lot. HC has had a good run of QB’s the last  7 or 8 years. I expect for the coaching staff to have someone ready to run the offense. But anytime you got a player taking there first snaps as a starter, your always concerned about how it will go.  But with the playmakers they have returning, I think they should be fine IMO.

Thanks for the update.  I'm sure the Tigers will be fine.  Y'all have the coaches and athletes to make it work.

Yes. I would love to hear some details as well. Are they just putting down turf or are they doing the seating as well??

Joey Hassell sent out the following tweet on April 22, and I haven't heard anything since.  According to rumor, they were going to build an entirely new stadium on campus.  If the plans are to build in stages, I feel like they will build the indoor practice facility first.

I was told by the Dburg coach back in May that the Milan scrimmage would be in Milan. That may have changed but that’s what I was told.

I did say that I might have made some mistakes,..lol.  I was just going by what was on the  tnfca site.  Since one of the Dyersburg coaches told you the scrimmage would be in Milan, I stand corrected.  I'm sure he would know.  Thanks.

I’ll ask him again. It was a couple of months ago so that might have changed.
